Meet Jeanne Korn, RYT 500

Tell us about the evolution of your Yoga practice:

“I knew it must be a great class, because the sign up sheet was full! Never one to take no for an answer, I slipped into the back of a packed yoga class at my local gym in NYC back in 1998 and never turned back! On that day, I began a lifelong journey that continues to challenge, change & transform my life.”

What’s one piece of advice you would share with a student new to Yoga?:

“Less is more:
Less effort and more awareness,
Less attachment to the result and more connection to the journey
Less intellectual understanding and more intuitive knowing”

Why do you teach Yoga?

“I teach Yoga because it continues to transform me, and in turn I have more to offer to my students. I feel blessed and eternally grateful to be sharing what I love most; supporting my students to feel more comfortable & supported in their bodies, relaxed in the their minds and connected to Spirit. From my experience it’s the best Therapy, the most soulful Church and the highest form of nourishment One could ask for!”

Jeanne’s favorite inspirational quote:

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
