30-hr Restorative Yoga Teacher Training
Embodied Rest: The Foundations of Restorative Yoga
with Alana Mitnick
Yoga Alliance Certified.
Participants who complete the training will receive 30 continuing education hours (CEUs). This training also fulfills one module of Bodhi Salt Yoga’s 2027 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
Restorative Yoga is a practice of being, rather than doing.
Conscious relaxation takes practice. As yogis, it’s an essential life skill we can cultivate in ourselves and learn to share with our students and loved ones. Through supported, restful postures, we begin to recognize habitual patterns of tension and gently invite the body and mind to soften, release, and let go. By supporting the body’s relaxation response and parasympathetic nervous system activity, Restorative Yoga encourages deep rest and restoration, creating space for healing.
Join Alana Mitnick for a nourishing, rejuvenating, and enriching 30-hour Restorative Yoga Teacher Training. Open to yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners, this training is designed to deepen your understanding and personal experience of Restorative Yoga while providing the foundational knowledge and practical skills to guide others with greater confidence, awareness, and presence.
The training combines guided restorative sessions with detailed posture and prop breakdowns, lectures, and group discussions. You’ll learn how to design and guide thoughtful, accessible restorative experiences for group classes, private sessions, and your own personal practice.
